Canadian pop punk band, July, came down to record with King Sound Studios, and we had the pleasure of putting together this performance video with them. Be sure to check out King Sound Studio at
We LOVE working on music videos, especially with our good friends Hearts of Saints. We've had the pleasure of working with them on three projects now, and this was one of the most interesting. We did a live performance recording without a click track (which makes things extra difficult on the post production end). These guys are the best. This was a special project we did for our friend, Aaron Duncan. Aaron's friend, Jake "The Ripper" Moore, passed away a couple years before we made this video. Aaron and Jake wrote parts of this song together and he dedicated the song to Jake's memory. The entire video was shot in a shed in Aaron's back yard where he and Jake used to jam together. We hope you enjoy it.
This music video was shot in about three hours time with two cameras in a tiny studio in someone's house. We went for a dark and gritty tone while keeping the "making of" feel to the video. The guys behind Cryxus are electronic music geniuses. It was great to work with them and we continue to collaborate with them through their work on Auragen Studios.
We shot on location in Livingston County with Zach Noon (Trubz) and Jacob Matlock of Trubz 'N' Matlock. Had a great time working with these guys. They had such a good vision for their video, scouted some great locations and we were all happy with the outcome. Looking forward to working with these guys more in the future.
Delicious beer, good food and great music. That sums up Maiden Alley's Oktoberfest in Paducah, Kentucky. That and cute ladies in Lederhosen. Something for everyone! This video was produced by Curt Stewart of Emerging Media Productions.
We thought it would be fun to show people a glimpse of how a music video is put together in post production. So this is a look at the editing progression of Cryxus' "Save Some" music video produced by Curt Stewart of Emerging Media Productions.
